IMPACT ASPIRE PROGRESS

We are up to the I in ASPIRE this week and all room 9 students are working hard to "make a difference in their environmnet" in some way. Here is a little sample of what some of the students are up to...
Making a worm farm
Creating kids dress ups out of old clothes and fabrics.
Creating an awareness about Palm oil through magnets and badges.
Using recipes to highlight a number of foods that are low on 'food miles.'

This is just a sneak preview. We invite all parents and families to join room 9 in our class presentation in the last week of term, where you will see exactly what all of the fabulous room 9 students have been up to.

Keep working hard room 9, you are doing a fabulous job so far and making good progress :)

OTAGO CROSS COUNTRY

Well done to Henri, Lucy and Will for their efforts in the Otago Cross Country. The represented the school well, Lucy came 15th, Henri 7th and Will 4th. All which helped us to win the Intermediate Schools Cross Country trophy. Well done to all of the Balmac students who competed in this event
